As you've explained it, it seems to me that you're being as honest with your prospective buyers as you can be. There are lots of things in life you can't control. (Most things, in fact.) How you mortgage-holder will respond to your highest bid is one of those things. It occurs to me that you could explain your intent about running a 5-Day Sale to your bank ahead of time, but my limited experience tells me that they won't give a very satisfying response to a hypothetical situation. So you run the sale and go to your mortgage-holder with the best offer and see what happens. It's a good faith attempt to put together a transaction that's satisfying to everyone under challenging circumstances. Go for it!
