Manufactured homes are tough. Dealers and builders compete with you for
new buyers. You can sell your home in 5-Days, but you won't like the
price. This is equally true in good times. Manufactured homes tend to
depreciate rather than appreciate, so it is difficult to get as much for
a used home as the new appraisal price unless the underlying land goes
with the home and has skyrocketed in value. That is rarely the case in
this market.
Put the home in the appropriate category. If you have a manufactured
home, and that's what yours is, put your ad there. Buyers will figure
it out soon enough. I believe in print advertising for serious buyers.
You may get serious buyers from the Internet, but you can always count
on them also looking in newspapers.
I don't know which papers in your area.
