[5-DayForum] 5 Day Method Failed but REALTOR got top dollar

I'm of the same cloth as Elizabeth -

Credibility is lost when someone vehemently defends something as much as
Effros and others do on this forum - however I tried the process full
force:

I attempted to run 2 sales this past weekend - advertised everywhere -
spent over $2000 in advertising including signs & flyers, as well as
newspaper ads in the Philadelphia area -

One of the houses attracted 25 calls by Friday - 7 people showed up on
the weekend, very few additional people called after Friday. We tried
to conduct the sale believing that it would bring us the highest price
and were only able to get in touch with 2 of the "bidders" the price
didn't even come over 70k, for a rehabbed house appraised for 110k.

The other house only 9 people called so we postponed the sale.

I've consistently seen ulterior motives on the part of real estate
guru's... although it seems as if Effros believes in his product 100%...
so does everyone else selling this kind of stuff...

Nothing works 100% of the time, no matter what someone tries to tell
you.
