[5-DayForum] Baking Cookies

During my open house I had my niece baking chocolate chip cookies. It made the place smell so good, which was the intent. The new carpet and paint smell bothered my wife and I'm sure it bothers other people. 
   
  Several people came right back in the kitchen to get more cookies, and next to the cookies were all my flyers and info packs. 
   
  I made plenty of mistakes, but this is one thing I think I got right. 
   
  I've learned however you don't need to drive yourself nuts. Do the best you can. You will probably wish you did this or that better, but people will still come. 
   
  If you are like me you didn't sleep the night before the open house. Now that I've done it once, I would not fear it again. The fear of the unknown is perhaps your biggest hurdle.
