[5-DayForum] Advertising

Bob,

I am in Bremerton, WA and am running a sale this week. I have placed ads to
start Wednesday with the Kitsap Sun and all the Kitsap County Papers under
Sound Publishing, Inc.  So far my advertising costs total about $450.  I
have considered also advertising in the Seattle papers and am wondering what
a typical 5-day sale ad runs in the Times/Post Herald.  If you could share
this I would most appreciative.

On the topic of advertising, I have a question. I have ownership interest in
5 properties that I want to sell in the next 3 weekends.  
I'm in the Seattle, WA area, which fortunately is only sitting on 6 months
of inventory. We have two large papers, the Seattle Times and the Seattle
Post. Advertising in one gets you advertising in the other. Besides taking
advantage of the white space (to make your classified ad pop out a bit),
what other advertising things are working? flyers; postcards; larger display
ads; others??
