I find that "lightly" staging a house works well to sell an unoccupied  
house.   For instance, i put aerobeds in the bedrooms with very nice,  fluffy 
linens so they can envision how their own beds would fit.  In the  bathrooms, I put 
nice floor mats and fluffy towels and a neutral but nice shower  curtain.  
I'm sure you get the idea.  It's better if the house feels  more like a home.   
The furnishings are inexpensive and can be used  again.  I think they make the 
rooms look more spacious and practical when  you suggest ways of using the 
space.
