I no longer use off-property signs in conjunction with 5-Day Sales
because I find they throw off the count of targeted buyers located by
Friday night; and they attract too many unscreened curious non-buyers,
weasels, and sore-heads.

While they sometimes attract the final buyer, they are as likely, in my
view, to lower the final selling price as they are to raise it.

I place 1 sign on the property on Saturday and Sunday that contains the
same information as the classified ad, primarily to allow people who
have already called know that they have arrived at the right place.
Often this is nothing more than a blow-up of the newspaper classified ad 
printed out on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, taped to the front door.

With computer mapping so widely available, and everyone carrying a
cell-phone, lost buyers can easily find your home without signs tacked
to telephone poles (illegally).
