Gary,

That was probably me.  Craig's List varies in its effectiveness from one 
area to the next.  But you can't count on it as your primary source of 
buyers--something that was once possible in some parts of the country.

You surely can still advertise on Craig's List, but stay away from 
weasel words "Best Offer Acceptable to Seller" etc.  Watch your ad on 
Craig's List continually to make sure no one has flagged it.  Many 
people pull their Craig's List ads if they get flagged.  When you 
respond to Craig's List people make sure you let everyone know you plan 
to honor the terms you have stated in the ad.
