Danielle,

While I generally agree with your comment, I would love to hear a 
detailed analysis of a fixer-upper sale conducted by someone with 
experience in this market.

My 5-Day Sales with homes in the worst condition have netted far more 
than I ever expected.  Most are purchased by professional investors, and 
contractors looking to buy themselves some work.  Invariably the high 
bidder pays too much, and sells the home for less than the projected 
selling price.  This was just as true when the market was "hot" as it is 
today.

I never expected this outcome, but I have seen it repeatedly.
