[5-DayForum] First round High bidder

I say,
You are the high bidder, and we have 50 bids behind yours. Most will
probably drop out, but it will take me over an hour to go through them
all. Your bid is just $500 above the next 3 bidders, and you might want
to consider raising your own bid, rather than waiting for 50 other
people to try to top it. This is good for you, but not for me.
Preemptive bids may knock out a lot of bidders, and you may buy the home
for less. But if you just wait until I call everyone else, you will get
a chance to top them--it's your call--don't worry about the time--I have
to call everyone else, but I will get back to you, no matter what you
do, provided only that you are prepared to honor your current bid or
raise it.
