[5-DayForum] Advertising In Venice FL

Hi Bill,

I have my 2 cents worth on this topic also. :^) I would call what we do
here, a mailing list as opposed to a "forum". I totally understand the
intent, and I do know the purpose, and I do very much appreciate it. But,
there is such a thing as an internet "forum" where instead of everything
being mailed to the subscribers (individually, or in a summary format), the
messages are actually mainained out on a server somewhere and then the
interested users go browse and "pull" the messages they want to look at and
reply to. I think this terminology issue is why some users post to the
mailing list that they can't access the forum. Or, at least I think, that
might be some of the confusion sometimes.

As for the idea of a true forum, I think it would be great - but it is a lot
more work for someone to maintain, and I really don't know that you would
want to get into all of that. But, I do hope this helps a little.

Sandy
