[5-DayForum] Sale Schedule

Hi Bill,

I agree, we'll just be "us" during the sale, no tricks or gimmicks, and have the detailed inspection already and am typing up the inspection results for people to take home, so there will be no "secrets." I want everyone to be well-informed of everything about this house if they are going to be making a decision in such a short period of time.

I keep changing the rules of the round-robin according to all of the feedback. I want to have rules and stick to them, but don't want to miss out on a good bid, but then again if people are really interested in the home they will be available during the round-robin.

  Kimberly,

For the record, I know exactly what a poodle skirt is.

On a serious level, and I understand we're just joking here, do nothing that could conceivably distract buyers.

I turn off all music. I dress as me. Returning to an earlier conversation, I find that the character I play best during an open house, and during a round robin, is me. When I am playing me, honestly trying to sell my home to the highest bidder, I am the most believable character in the world for that role.

People may not like me, and they may not like my home, but they believe that I am going to do exactly what I say I'm going to do. And if they like my home, and if they want my home, and if they are prepared to pay more on this day than anyone else in the world is willing to pay, they will bid, and they will buy.

My character will sell them my home on Sunday night for the best offer.

  >From the way you've conducted yourself on this forum, and from the way you've been willing to help others, I would guess buyers coming to see your home next weekend will feel the same way about you and your character, as they do about me, and my character.

      Steve,

I'm working on it! Should I put on my poodle skirt and turn up the Chuck Berry music? When you said "ready to rock and roll" it just made me think of some 50's scene... don't know why. :) I wasn't burn until 1967, so never did wear a poodle skirt, but I'm sure my mom probably did. :)~

Anyway, just got my Craigslist ad all ready, posted it and then deleted it, so Wednesday morning I can just repost it again. They run for 7 days, so it will run another 5 days after reposting it and that will be perfect... YAY! :) Off to get more done.

        Joyce,

This weekend coming up. I'm reading to rock and roll so I hope everyone
        else is
        ready out there, too.
