  I'm glad you're still excited about it!  After the three we watched over the weekend, it took the air out of sails for a while last night and made us more apprehensive.  I don't remember your history with the 5-day, have you run one before?  We had two people interested in our house when we had garage sales, and one realtor has called from the one day I had our ad on Craigslist a few weeks ago and will be at the inspection next weekend, I explained to her what we were doing and she thinks it's a very interesting idea and wants to came take a look.  She had called asking if we would work with them on a commission if they found a buyer and I had told her no and that's what started the conversation.  Due to the interest in our home from garage salers and the fact that we have a really nice property where everyone drives by or walks by daily, I think it's important that we put a sign out and deal with the extra traffic.  This is a place that a lot of people may be wishing they had and if they knew it was for sale they may be thrilled.  I know one person who was interested at the garage sale will be looking for when we have it for sale, his wife has been back once already to our second garage sale and said they are watching for when it goes up for sale.  

  So, this week, will be one of the people reporting into the forum, I'm sure it will be an interesting week!

    I think you're right, regarding the e-mail delay.  Some came in a day late.
    By the way, I wish you success this weekend on your sale.  Ours happens, too.

    Funny, I got 2 calls yesterday from 2 past couples that previously walked through
    our Spec Home - 1 last week and 1 six weeks ago.  1 gave me an offer, the other 
    I gave my best price and with both I explained the 5 Day Sale that is happening
    this weekend.

    I think it wil be an interesting and exciting week!

      It would be really great to hear how your sale went.  I have been watching three other ones and we are having out sale this coming week and I am looking for all the feedback I can.  Would you mind sharing how your sale went?  

      By the way, I only received your e-mail this evening (Sunday) at 9:09 PM PST, but from the looks of your message it seems you may have sent it out long before then?  I received about 16 e-mails all at once when I had just checked an hour before and I'm thinking they were almost all late ones.  Was this your first time to post?  I'm thinking they were all new ones that had to be "cleared" before being sent to the forum and Bill Effros was gone for the weekend.

        Well, if you want some encouragement I am Bill E (Elliott) also. Our open house is scheduled for this weekend, June 2nd and 3rd.  We are getting all kinds of responses from our newspaper add but only 3 from Craig's List. We even had three people who offered cash up front. However, in keeping with the spirit of the 5 Day method I explained what we are doing and invited them to show up Saturday or Sunday and enter their bid. Have been working like ! the for a couple of days but it will be worth it. I must admit that the closer it gets to the weekend the more anxious I am getting. Deep Sleep is coming at a premium.
        I find the hardest thing to do is get friends and family to commit to helping out. Family is the most difficult to win over. They think Iam crazy. If there is anyone out there in the Ft. Worth area that would like to help, come on down.  I will be glad to reciprocate on future auctions.
