Stop and think about it.  Every home on the market has it's age category.  A lot of us old folks live in young people's homes, but that's because we've stayed there since we were young.  We ain't buying em now.  We are an extremely large cohort, we Baby Boomers. If you have placed your advertising where it will reach a large cross section of the general population it will reach enough of us too.  Relax.  Enjoy this.  You will convey a much better impression of your home if you stay loose.

  Hi All,

  Day 2 - only 10 responses so far - way less than others reporting including Bill W who is located not terribly far from us.

  Perhaps I'm a little over anxious - the book does say, you're on target if you have 12 responses by the end of Day 2 so at this point I'm not too far off - there is still hope.

  I do have a question, which is, If I am in a 55+ gated community, can I hope for the same number of responses as everyone else  (the number of prospective buyers for my home is greatly reduced because of the age restriction).  And, if I can't expect as many responses as others, then should I still adhere to the 25 responses by Fri. night rule?  My husband has been manning the phone both days and in his opinion, 6 of the 10 callers have sounded very interested.  Would appreciate any and all comments in regards to our situation.
