Mark,

If you think about it you realize that the number of people responding 
to large metropolitan area, large circulation newspapers often does not 
reach the threshold by Friday night.

Oversaturation is not the problem.

If you use a church bulletin approach, make sure to time your sale at 
the same time the bulletin first comes out, otherwise you will decrease 
the urgency, while increasing the confusion.

There is no need to target the message.  A blunderbuss works fine, as 
long as it's aimed in approximately the right direction, provided the 
information closely mirrors the book.
