I put the signs up the Friday Night before the weekend open house. I did it 
after 5pm on Friday for the open house the next day. Because people might 
not like seeing the signs I would not do it any sooner. If your city or town 
has problems with it they may not mind if it is only up for a weekend. Just 
make sure you remove them after you close your house on Sunday. Do not wait 
until Monday to remove all road signs. The signs are there for people to 
drive by and follow them to your open house. You will not get any calls from 
them. They do not have any detailed information on them. I have code 
violation problems were I did my open houses, but no one complained because 
they were gone before you knew they were even there. I did loose a few to 
theft as well.
